A few of the things from my web design toolbox that you’ll see around this site.

I created the designs for this site in Adobe Illustrator. I used Adobe Photoshop for photo editing and image optimization, along with Gimp. (Yes, Gimp.) The fonts are Lato from FontSquirrel and Embryo from MyFonts. The icon pack was created using IcoMoon, and the loading gif was made with this generator. The browser icons were created by Nick Georgiou and Stedesign. My bio photo was bedazzled using Blingee.

I wrote the code for this website using the Coda text editor. My super-cool ASCII text was made using the Text to ASCII Art Generator. The HTML backbone comes from the HTML5 Boilerplate, and uses Normalize.css and Modernizr.js. Page transitions were implemented by Scott, using the jQuery library and History.js. While developing, I made heavy use of the CSS Terminal bookmarklet, the ColorZilla extension, and the Web Developer extension. Throughout the web design process, I often consulted CSS Tricks, Stack Overflow, Codrops, W3Schools, and Web Safe Colors.
